Accomplishments

School Safety
Following the tragedy in Uvalde, I partnered with the district's Director of Safety to help strengthen school security. After identifying a simple, low-cost solution using decommissioned fire hose to help secure classroom doors during a Secure Facility event, I worked to gain approval for the project, secured enough donated fire hose to equip Gulf Breeze Elementary, Gulf Breeze Middle, Gulf Breeze High, and Oriole Beach Elementary, and personally built each device. It was a practical example of how collaboration, creativity, and community support can improve school safety without placing an additional burden on taxpayers.
Yearbook
As Yearbook Chair at Gulf Breeze Elementary, I saw an opportunity to transform the yearbook from a tradition into a sustainable fundraiser for our school. Working independently as the sole member of the committee, I negotiated a new publishing contract, managed every aspect of the project from start to finish, and turned the program into one of the PTA's most successful fundraising initiatives.
In my final year, the yearbook generated nearly $15,000 in profit. Over the years funds helped provide new library furniture, expand Wi-Fi infrastructure, invest in technology enhancements, and support projects that directly benefited students and teachers throughout the school.
