About Kyle

Kyle was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Santa Rosa County is home now, where she is raising three kids, all in Santa Rosa County Schools.

Education runs in her family. Both grandparents were educators, and her grandfather served as a Naval Aviator at NAS Pensacola before becoming a teacher. His service brought Kyle to the Gulf Coast as a child and it's why she is here today.

Her professional background is in business management, budgeting, project management, and contract negotiation. As a small business owner, she understands the importance of fiscal responsibility, accountability, and thoughtful decision-making.

She has served on the PTA Board at Gulf Breeze Elementary, chaired the yearbook committee, and has been actively involved in supporting our public schools. She is committed to transparent leadership, protecting students, supporting teachers, and ensuring every tax dollar is spent wisely for the benefit of Santa Rosa County’s children.

Sometimes experience becomes comfortable. Fresh leadership asks difficult questions, follows the money, and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo. Nothing changes if nothing changes.

My Vision

Santa Rosa County's greatest asset is its people. As enrollment declines and budgets become tighter, every decision must be intentional. My vision is to ensure every dollar is spent wisely, teachers receive the support they deserve, parents have a voice, and students remain at the center of every decision. Through transparency, accountability, and responsible leadership, we can build a stronger future for our schools.

Putting Priorites into action.

  • Advocate for Teachers – Recruit and retain exceptional educators by supporting competitive pay, reducing unnecessary burdens, and ensuring teachers have the resources they need to succeed.

  • Transparency & Accountability – Make decisions in the open, communicate honestly with families, and ensure every taxpayer dollar is spent responsibly.

  • Student Safety First – Protect our students through strong safety policies, data privacy, and a culture where concerns are addressed not ignored.

  • Parental Partnership – Parents deserve a voice in their children's education. I believe families should be informed, respected, and included in the decision-making process which can be achieved by hosting town halls and budget workshops ahead of monthly board meetings.

  • Support Every Student – Ensure every child has access to the opportunities, programs, and support they need to reach their full potential.

  • Responsible Financial Stewardship – Bring real world budgeting and negotiation experience to the School Board, making thoughtful decisions that maximize resources while respecting taxpayers.

  • Strong Leadership Through Experience – Ask tough questions, analyze the details, and make decisions based on facts, not politics or pressure.

  • Protect What Works. Improve What Doesn't. – Santa Rosa County has incredible teachers, staff, and students. My goal is to preserve what's working while addressing the challenges that keep our district from being its best.
